Features:

The Manzella Sprint Reflect Glove Liners are made with moisture wicking stretch polyester for all day comfort. Great for any aerobic activity on it's own or as a liner in heavier gloves. Control Trax Grip® on the palms and fingers provides increased grip. The reflective Manzella logo on the back of the gloves increases visibility.

Initial Thoughts (04/20/11):

I purchased the Manzella Sprint Reflect gloves to use as a liner during snowshoeing and mountaineering adventures. I normally wear medium or large gloves, so the medium/large size fits me perfectly. The Sprint gloves are very comfortable and the Control Trax Grip® definitely works. They even work on my touchscreen phone. They seem to be well made with all seams tight and no extra threads hanging out.

In The Field:

The Manzella Sprint Reflect glove liners have worked very well. I can easily fit them in both mittens and fingered winter gloves. They help keep my hands warm when I need to take off my heavy outer gloves to put on crampons or tie into a rope. They also work well in warmer conditions or highly aerobic activities like snowshoeing. They are not waterproof, but stay dry in light snow unless you are touching the snow as in making snowballs or snowmen. If they ever get wet they dry very quickly.

My only complaint is the Control Trax Grip® easily wears off. I noticed this after the first couple trips. After 10 months of use, nearly 70% of the grips have worn off. Its hard to use the gloves on a touchscreen phone after the grips wear off. Otherwise the gloves had held up very well to lots of use.

See Mount Saint Helens, Mount Dana, and Mount Hood adventures where the Manzella Spring Reflect gloves were used.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, I am quite satisfied with the Manzella Sprint Reflect gloves. They feel great, keep my hands warm and with the exception of the Control Trax Grip® wearing off, are quite durable. Available from amazon.com.
